Frank Delano Roosevelt said "There is nothing to fear but fear itself"
Fear is not like a cookie. Fear is invisible, you can't see it, or touch it, you can't smell it, or taste it, or hear it ...yet fear can take control of your life and stop you from truly living.
Many people arrange their lives to accommodate their phobias. For example, fear of crowds keeps people indoors and reclusive. Fear has taken control of that persons life at that point.
If you can deal with your fears in your imagination, it helps you deal with them in reality.
Did you ever dread a certain situation, then when it really happens you think to yourself " Is that all there is?" Do you have a fear that you want to get over? Do you have a fear that controls you.
Dogs, Cats, Heights, water using public restrooms, emetophobia ? Do you have an annoying habit you want to get rid of? Are you addicted to chocolate? Pepsi cola?SEX?
